Dublin 7 is found on the north side of the city. It includes Arbour Hill, Broadstone, Cabra, Grangegorman, Phibsboro, Smithfield and Stoneybatter. Areas of interest include the Fourt Courts, Ireland's main courts building, located on Inns Quay. The Four Courts is home to the Supreme Court, the High Court and the Dublin Circuit Court. The building is based on the design of Thomas Cooley. After his death in 1784 renowned architect James Gandon was appointed to finish the building. Stoneybatter is known for a number of Viking street names. At the time of the Norman invasion, the Vikings, Ostmen or Austmenn (men of the East) as they called themselves, were exiled in this area to the north of the River Liffey.
