The course takes students from evaluation of client and user needs to build robust modern websites – working with text, paragraphs, and tables to building multi-page responsive grid-based layouts using style sheets, layers, templates, and libraries.
This course is validated by Griffith College. This course focuses on the development of professional skills and does not sit on the national framework.

- Articulate how a web page is organised to allow elements to be accessed regardless of the programming language used with reference to the role of front-end versus back-end and server-side technologies.
- You will gain an awareness of web publishing best practices including SEO and metadata.

| Entry Requirements | Proficient in the use of MAC/MS Applications. It is recommended that applicants have a good understanding of both written and spoken English. Applicants under 23 years of age: Minimum 5 O6s/H7s in the Irish Leaving Certificate or equivalent award Or FETAC Level 5 Full Award Applicants over 23: If you are 23 years or over from the 1st January of this year, you can apply for this course directly using the College’s online application form. |
