Practical Cryptography
Cyber Skills
Cryptography is an essential part of building secure and robust information systems and applications. In this module students will gain a hands-on understanding of practical cryptographic applications and their correct implementations in information systems. This will include an understanding of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography and hash functions. This module was developed under the Cyber Skills HCI Pillar 3 Project. Learn more.

Entry Requirements | This course is for experienced software developers to enhance their skills with the knowledge to develop secure software. Ideally candidates will poess an honours degree in computing or in a cognate area (STEM). Candidates who do not hold a computing degree and are currently working in the IT sector may be considered based on relevant academic qualifications or extensive work experience. |
