Course Description:
Welcome to Metalwork and Metalcraft for beginners. In this 8 week course, you will be led through the design, manufacture and decorative finishing stages of a metal artefact.
Using a combination of materials ranging from aluminium, copper, steel and plastics, you will follow working drawings to create the final artefact.
The course will teach you the basics of metalworking, the correct and safe way to use the bench tools and processes for each task.
The price of the course is €150, all materials are covered.
Course Day & Time: Thursday evening 7.00 – 9.30pm
Start Date: Autumn 2025 (Not running on Spring 2025 but will be Back for Autumn 2025 Programme)
Cost: €150 (Note: course fee includes all materials needed for the course)
Course Format: In class with tutor – Maximum of 10 students in class
Duration: 8 weeks
