META has a collective arts approach. It is neither an integrated arts programme nor a programme in any specific discipline and will examine the issues, practices and theories that underpin music, visual arts, dance, drama and literature in education.

| Entry Requirements | Applicants will normally hold a 2.2 Honours degree (at level 8) with a major subject/component in one of the following areas: Education, Visual Arts, Music, Drama & Theatre Studies, Dance, Creative Writing. Applicants who have a degree major in other disciplines may be considered if they have substantial and relevant professional experience of the arts and education greater than three years. * Other applicants who have substantial and relevant prior experience and/or learning may be considered. * * Acceptance under these categories will be subject to an interview. Portfolio evidence may also be required. |
