Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Addiction

Participants will gain familiarity with the CBT model of Addiction and its application to the understanding and treatment of the most common addiction problems.
Participants of this one-day workshop will learn to become more confident with applying a Cognitive Behavioural framework & CBT interventions to common addictions such as:
– Alcohol/drug addiction
– Compulsive Gambling
-Sexual Addiction/Compulsivity
– The relevance of the Internet in fuelling addictions will also be discussed, especially in relation to specifically online addictions such as Gaming Disorder and possible addiction to Social Media.
