This part-time course explores application protocols and delves into their relationship with the protocols and services provided by the Transport, Internet, Data Link and Physical layers of the network.
The CCNA Exploration course explores the main application protocols and delves into their relationship with the protocols and services provided by the Transport, Internet, Data Link and Physical layers of the network.
This comprehensive course will encompass the basics of Routing – both static and dynamic and incorporates the configuration and implementation of various routing protocols. Also included are LAN Switching, Wireless, WANs and Security along with the basics of VLANS and IP Telephony.
The emphasis is on problem-solving and critical thinking while using terminology that provides an in depth, theoretical understanding of networking concepts. Simulation-based activities allow students to design,
build and configure multiple networks.

Entry Requirements | - We recommend that participants have familiarity with IT systems. Ideal candidates would have completed the CompTIA Network + qualification. Also suitable would be people with experience in troubleshooting and repair. - Fluency in English is a requirement. - Students who are not working in the IT industry should be prepared to commit extra time to study. |
