Chinese, Introduction to Language and Culture

This course is offered subject to minimum registration numbers.
This course teaches a basic ‘survival’ repertoire of spoken Chinese and introduces some central aspects of Chinese culture, including the writing system. As much use as possible is made of authentic materials.

| Course Fee | €395 full rate. There is also a concession rate available to all those retired, over 65s, and those on a government pension / payment plan and the unwaged, including second- and third-level students. This fee is strictly non-refundable once the course has commenced. |
| Course Duration | The course runs for 24 weeks (two-hour classes once a week) spread over two terms – Michaelmas term (starting September) and Hillary term (starting January). |

| Entry Requirements | You must be 18 years of age or older to enroll in the School of Linguistic, Speech, and Communications Sciences evening courses. |
