The programme is perfect if you’re interested in visual effects and virtual reality but have not yet completed a related programme and need to build a portfolio of VFX work. The programme provides you with an opportunity to historically contextualise theoretical concepts as you explore and experiment across a range of VR and VFX software and technologies to enhance your skills and understanding of the interactive storytelling alongside the planning and execution of complex production pipelines.

This programme aims to foster your creative talent and generate industry practitioners emphasising the VFX and VR sectors. Through an integrated learning experience in interactive storytelling, VFX and VR, you will be capable of producing highly specialised assets and publishing them on various platforms. In addition to this, you will be a problem solver who is adaptable to changing environments. When graduated, you’ll be equipped with professional and personal skills, from working with others in teams and the ability to effectively communicate through to a wide range of transferable, employable technical and creative skills needed to create a professional portfolio. Work produced on this programme and the skills and knowledge gained, will make you employable in a wide range of disciplines within the film, TV design and screen media sectors.
