Secure Systems Architecture Special Purpose Award is designed to provide the experienced
Systems Architect with the cyber security skills needed by a Secure Systems Architect.
Building on the existing knowledge of a Systems Architect, this certificate will provide the learner with tools
and techniques to support them in making informed security decisions when designing and assessing
systems against the security obligations of an organisation. Mapped closely to the work role ‘Security
Architect’ as described in the NIST NICE framework, the modules are designed to enhance existing systems
architecture knowledge with cyber security specific knowledge required in the modern digital world.
