Brazilian Portuguese – Beginners Level 1

This online course is intended for complete beginners who do not have any Portuguese or might know some words or a few expressions. If you are in any doubt please contact us to arrange a free level test.

By the end of the course you are expected to:

• be able to understand the basic structure of the language;
• be aware of the feminine, masculine and plural basic forms;
• be aware of the fundamentals of Portuguese pronunciation;
• be able to express yourself in the present tense using some very common verbs;
• have basic vocabulary and be able to talk about yourself and others.

We have developed video tutorials for Beginners and these have been added to the Beginners level 1 course as a bonus!
