This course will provide you with the skills, knowledge and competencies to operate both a manual book-keeping and computerised accounts system.
The aim of this course is to provide learners with the skills, knowledge and competencies to operate both a manual book-keeping system from source documents up to trial balance and also to use a computerised accounts system.
This course is scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday nights for 11 weeks from 6.30 pm – 9.30 pm. Please note that the initial class and all assessments will be delivered in the Kerry College, Monavalley Campus. All other classes will be delivered online.
Please note all Learners must have competent written and spoken English (CEFR B1 or Higher)

Entry Requirements | Applicants will be expected to demonstrate a standard of knowledge, skill and competence equivalent to NFQ Level 5 when accessing a Level 6 programme. Must have a motivation to learn, an interest in the subject and the ability to acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies set out in the course. Must be able to demonstrate a broad range of knowledge, skills and competencies relevant to the course Be able to exercise initiative and independence when carrying out course activities. As this is a Blended Learning course applicants will need to have access to a PC/Laptop and Internet. They also need reasonable IT skills. |
