An Introduction to Religion, Theology and Peace Studies
Trinity College Dublin
This two-part course is comprised of two eight-lecture modules, which can be taken separately in each academic term or together to form a year-long programme.
Section 1 is World Religions and Theological Frameworks, and this module examines the disciplines of religion and theology from historical and contemporary perspectives. Section 2 is Conflict, Reconciliation and Peace: Past, Present and Future. This module addresses aspects of peace in the historical and modern world, focusing on theories of mediation, and case studies on conflict and reconciliation.
The School of Religion, Theology, and Peace Studies at Trinity is an interdisciplinary School with three disciplines working on areas of academic interest such as world religions and theological frameworks. In parallel there are research interests in conflict, mediation, resolution, and peace within our School.

Course Fee | 180, or €100 per term. There is also concession rate of €140 (or €80 per term) available to all those retired, over 65s, and those on a government pension / payment plan and the unwaged, including second- and third-level students. |
