The Institute of Technology Tralee is committed to providing a high quality and relevant education service to all their students. Their part-time courses help provide you with the opportunity to enhance your existing qualifications or may provide you with a new qualification to advance your career. A number of the programmes also offer you the opportunity to progress to full-time courses at the Institute in future years, gaining exemptions from the modules you successfully complete. All of the programmes on offer at the Institute are fully accredited on the National Framework of Qualifications.

The Institute offers many flexible and innovative routes to education, enabling learners to achieve a third-level qualification whilst also recognising their work, family and life commitments. To support adult learners IT Tralee have also ensured that an increasing number of programmes are delivered both on and off campus through a combination of online and distance learning.

IT Tralee offers a number of programmes under the Springboard+ initiative, enabling eligible candidates to gain qualifications across a variety of industries and sectors. All courses selected for funding under Springboard+ 2019 are in areas of identified enterprise skills needs.
