Visit National College of Ireland’s Spencer Dock on Culture Night. Experience this educational, vibrant space. This year’s theme focuses on sustainability and celebrating lifelong learning at National College of Ireland.
Spread out over six brilliantly themed floors, with activities that have been thoughtfully designed so that everyone in the community can enjoy them, NCI has so much for you to enjoy. Our Early Learning Initiative (ELI), the School of Computing, and the Centre for Education and Lifelong Learning (CELL), will welcome you to the fascinating world of computers on the first floor. On the second floor, you can engage with the School of Business and Psychology.
Discover our new library on the fourth and fifth floors that has been designed for 21st century learning. Tour this new, modern space while admiring the incredible artwork that is on display throughout the building.
Complete your night at our wonderful storytelling session on the 6th floor. Admire the striking views of Dublin’s fair city while listening to remarkable stories about the diverse communities of past and present. It is a gift to be able to look out and appreciate the past while celebrating all the changes that have taken place.
Everyone is welcome to enjoy this educational, community space. We are especially excited to welcome children and their families.

Culture Night / Oíche Chultúir is a national moment, one that celebrates the rich, diverse culture in Ireland today. It is a moment that connects people to cultural activities locally and nationally, aiming to open pathways to ongoing engagement.
Culture Night is an annual, all-island public event which takes place each year on the second last Friday of September, Culture Night celebrates culture, creativity, and the arts. Culture Night passionately supports and promotes the belief that this rich and varied culture is alive, treasured, and nurtured in people’s lives, today and every day.
The National College of Ireland NCI offers a wide range of part-time courses and evening classes at the IFSC Dublin.
Courses at The National College of Ireland NCI are highly-relevant courses that give students the skills that future employers will be looking for when looking to hire. The college works closely with industry and professional bodies such as Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), Institute of Commercial Management (ICM), Irish Institute of Pensions Management, the Sales Institute of Ireland and others to ensure our courses closely are aligned to industry needs. Small classes and student support allow lecturers and students to interact more.
At the National College of Ireland NCI, students can realise their true potential with our part-time courses. We offer Postgraduate and Undergraduate courses in Business, Computing, Accountancy, Human Resources, Marketing, Psychology and much more. NCI provides a wide range of Full-Time and Part-Time programmes that will prepare students for their future careers. Located in the modern and stylish IFSC, NCI offers a supportive and friendly campus that is a stones throw away from the heart of the Dublin City Centre.
In addition, National College of Ireland NCI provides premier sports and recreational facilities on and off campus. There’s the SV Fitness Club, which all Full-time students have an annual membership for after registration. Here there is a free weights area, spinning classes, selection of gym equipment, massage therapy centre and steam room and sauna. There are also a number of pitches and sports centres available for student use across Dublin.
