Aontas invite you to the launch of ‘The Irish Journal of Adult and Community Education: The Adult Learner.’ This year’s edition explores the impact of COVID-19 on adult, community and further education.
The launch takes place online on Wednesday, 8th December 2021 from 2pm -3.30pm
AONTAS is Ireland’s National Adult Learning Organisation. AONTAS promote the value and benefits of adult learning, and advocate on behalf of the sector.
The launch will feature a number of inputs focused on the theme: The Impact of COVID-19 on Adult, Community and Further Education.
Adult learner, Karen O’Donovan will share her experience of learning during COVID-19, and Prof Koen De Pryck, Vrije Universiteit Brussel will deliver the keynote address: COVID-19 and Adult Learning: Where do we go from here?.
Participants will also have a chance to hear from contributors through a panel discussion with authors.
