As part of the Galway International Arts Festival’s ‘First Thought Talks’ series, Donna Vuma, Bulelani Mfaco and Evgeny Shtorn will talk about their experiences of Direct Provision and what is wrong with the system. Anne Mulhall, an activist in the Movement for Asylum Seekers in Ireland, will moderate the discussion. Direct Provision is the system of asylum seeker accommodation used throughout the Republic of Ireland, which has been widely criticised by human rights organisations.
