Science Foundation Ireland takes place from 13th to the 20th November and this year will include 19 Science Week Festivals under the Science Week Call 2022.
The Science Week Call 2022 provides support to Festivals and Events nationwide that encourage people, in particular those underrepresented in STEM, or those with less access to STEM to engage in ways that are relevant and accessible during Science Week 2022 and beyond.
Taking place across the country, the Festivals cover Cork, Cavan / Monaghan, Sligo, Dublin, Galway, Limerick, Tipperary, Mayo, Wexford, Kilkenny, Kerry, Louth, Southeast, the Midlands, the Teagasc Festival of Farming and Food, BIAS: Inequality in Women’s Health and Research, The Science of Space Festival, The Plant Science Festival and Circus By The Sea.
Hundreds of events are planned across the country to celebrate Science Week from the 13th to the 20th November. With a mix of virtual and in-person events, Science Week aims to ensure that there is something there for all ages and interests.
