  • everyone who wants to be part of a key conversation that impacts our society and the adult learning sector

Purpose:

This discussion will explore the impact of representation, misrepresentation or lack there-of and how it shapes us as a people. Representation has been identified as important for children and within popular culture, but what about in the adult learning sector?

Our panelists will journey through the significance of representation, why it matters, and the ramifications of not addressing its importance.

Our guest panel come from varied backgrounds and experiences and together with our moderator will intricately traverse through representation waters in an innovative manner, providing us with practical solutions that just might lead toward a truly inclusive society.

What you should know:

  • As this is a panel discussion, attendees will be muted and videos will automatically be inaccessible. Focus of the entire discussion will be on the panelists and moderator until the Q&A session at the end.
  • For Q&A, attendees may indicate if they would like to access camera to pose questions or simply be heard without being seen.
  • The session will be recorded and a podcast will be made of the talk.
