About Pyrography
Pyrography is the freehanded art of decorating wood or other materials with burn marks resulting from the controlled application of a heated object. It is also known as pokerwork or wood burning. The term means “writing with fire”, from the Greek pur and graphos. The process has been practiced by a number of cultures including the Egyptians and some African tribes since the dawn of recorded history.
On this programme you will learn to create your own intricate designs and get dramatic results. This practical course is delivered by an expert in the area, and you can book on for the low cost of €145 – which even includes your starter materials and equipment.
