Are you considering learning a new language in 2018? We are proud to welcome the Portuguese Language Centre to Nightcourses.com.

About the Portuguese Language Centre

In 2011, Juliana Menezes founded the Portuguese Language Centre to promote and spread the language in Ireland.

The school offers classes for complete beginners as well as advanced courses. Classes take place in the afternoons and evenings in the Centre’s convenient location in the city centre, only minutes from O’Connell Street.

The group classes hold a maximum of eight. As a result, classes are interactive and students learn quicker. In addition, they offer individual tuition, in company classes, cultural workshops, events and movies in Portuguese. The Centre also has a small library with books, magazines, CDs and movies in Portuguese which students can borrow.

Registered with the local authorities in Ireland, the Portuguese Language Centre counts among its friends the Embassy of Brazil in Dublin. In addition, various educational companies have contributed books, magazines, CDs and DVDs.

Why Study Portuguese?

Portuguese is a widely spoken language. Around the world, 230 million people speak Portuguese.

Portuguese is also the sixth most widely spoken language in the world, and the third most spoken European language.

Learning Portuguese can accelerate your conversation with native speakers and broaden your cultural perspective, encouraging you to blend and transition into social occasions.

What Differentiates the Portuguese Language Centre?

  • Their lecturers are highly experienced in teaching Portuguese to foreigners. They  have Portuguese language teaching degrees and/or literary degrees with postgrads or masters in education or teaching Portuguese.
  • The Centre uses a wide variety of materials to teach Portuguese as a second language and also provides the course material.
  • Each student gets individual attention as there is a maximum of eight students in each group class.
  • Courses allow for a great combination of learning and fun in the classes.
  • The Portuguese Language Centre offers dynamic classes where students start speaking from the very first day.
