Oscar Nominations for 2022

The Oscar nominations for 2022 have been revealed today and it includes seven nominations for Kenneth Branagh’s Belfast for Original Screenplay, Best Director and Best Picture. Ciarán Hinds has been nominated for Best Supporting Actor as well as the film picking up a Best Supporting Actress and Best Sound nomination. Plus Van Morrison has a nomination for Best Original Song for “Down To Joy”.

Irish actor Jessie Buckley has picked up a nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her part in The Lost Daughter.

The 94th Oscars will take place on March 27.
