Cabinteely Community School in the heart of Cabinteely, Dublin 18 offers offer over 75 courses, evening classes, morning classes and adult education courses.

In addition to this extensive range, the school also provides a number of QQI (formerly FETAC) Level 5 certification courses. Their QQI evening courses support those in employment, as well as anyone looking to upskill, return to work, or start their own business.

Higher Education Links Scheme

Cabinteely Community School give participants the skills, knowledge, competence and confidence to work in their chosen sector. Their courses also prepare students for progression to further studies. Successful students may apply through the Higher Education Links Scheme to a range of third-level courses. Each certificate course comprises a two-year part-time course involving eight modules – four modules per year over two nights per week.

Courses

Courses on offer include personal growth and wellness programmes such as Mindfulness and Meditation.

There is a huge range of creative courses. Cake Decorating, Creative Writing, Drawing, Oil Painting, Digital Photography, Pottery, Stained Glass, Watercolours and Wood Carving are all available.

Practical skills courses include Car Maintenance and DIY, as well as Cooking and Baking.

Computer courses include Computers for Beginners, as well as Improvers. There are also courses on the Internet and Email, Social Media and Microsoft Excel.

There are a number of language courses too. These include French, Italian and Spanish.

Sports and exercise courses include Golf, Pilates and Zumba as well as Tai Chi and Qi Gong. There is also a variety of Yoga courses available. For those who prefer their exercise to be more musical, there are include Ballroom and Latin Dancing classes.

Additional courses include Art History, Bridge, Folk Guitar for Beginners, Interior Design and Flower Arranging.
