The course runs over 29 weeks

The programme aims to give the learner a solid grounding in mechanical engineering, bicycle engineering and design.

Pathway to a Level 7/8 degree in Automotive Engineering with TUS

Mandatory successful completion of online modules (is required prior to practical training)

  • 2850-312 Tig welding
  • 2850-327 Detailed fitting of materials
  • 2850-329 3D CAD
  • Assured in Advanced Bicycle Technician (Stage 2 & 3)
  • 3528-12 Certificate In Foundation Electronic Engineering
  • 3902-28 Level 2 in cycle mechanics
  • 5546-02 City & Guilds Award in Employability Skills (Preparing for Employment)

  • The blended courses are 4 weeks in duration
    • 3 weeks self guided E-learning that you complete in your own time
