On Tuesday November 10, the Léargas Research Forum will host presentations focused on the impact and experience of European programmes in Ireland from 2014-2020. This year’s event is being held virtually for the first time.
The Forum will host 6 researchers who will discuss and share their findings, followed by a brief Q&A section.

- The Impact of Erasmus+ on Modern Foreign Languages in Ireland
Dr. Britta C. Jung, Irish Research Council Post-doctoral Fellow. This study, co-funded by Léargas and the Higher Education Authority through the Irish Research Council, examines how exposure to foreign languages has influenced attitudes to language learning in Ireland, through engagement with former, current and future Erasmus+ participants, and 19 in-depth interviews with former participants and project co-ordinators.
