Blockchain is changing how people do business over the internet. If you want to find out more, get yourself down to Griffith College Dublin on 24th October.

About the event

Griffith Connects, in connection with the Faculty of Computing Science and Graduate Business School, are holding a presentation by Blockchain technology expert Barry O’Connor.

O’Connor will explain what Blockchain is, and also how it will become as mainstream as the Internet in a few years. Everyone is welcome. Whether you have a computing science background, looking for an introduction to Blockchain technology, or want to understand how this technology will impact businesses and online transactions going forward, this will be an illuminating talk.

This is a free event. Food and beverages will also be available on the night.

About Barry O’Connor

Barry is a veteran of transitioning emerging technologies into the corporate realm. He has over 20 years’ experience in the industry, across multiple domains and technologies. Currently, he is focused on blockchain and crypto technologies. This is because he sees this being one of the most significant and influential technology for our future. In addition, he is working with several companies and organisations to raise awareness and looking at proving and trialling blockchain technologies to address existing and future business problems
