‘Conversations with Learners’ is a free event that seeks to promote learning and diverse learner stories from across the island of Ireland.
This online event is organised by The Irish Network of Learning Cities (INLC) and will feature an introduction to each of the five INLC learning cities and showcase a learner’s story relevant to the themes of widening access and the learner centred approaches needed in a learning city. The event will celebrate the learners’ stories and the different pathways to learning. Attendees will also get the opportunity to meet and post questions to the Coordinators of each learning city in the Irish Network.
Conversations with Learners takes place on November 10 from 10:00 am – 11:00
The Irish Network of Learning Cities is a five-city joint initiative to promote learning across the cities, the city-regions and the island of Ireland. The Network was formed in 2019, and includes Cork, Limerick, Belfast, Derry-Strabane and Dublin Learning Cities. The five cities collaborate and carry out Learning City exchanges focused on the principles of the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities (GLNC) and all five cities are members of the UNESCO GNLC.
