The Civil Service is currently seeking graduates with disabilities for a 7-months, paid, and mentored work placements in a number of Civil Service employers based nationwide.

Willing Able Mentoring (WAM) is a work placement programme which aims to promote access to the labour market for graduates with disabilities and build the capacity of employers to integrate disability into the mainstream workplace.

WAM placements within the Civil Service are at a grade of Executive Officer.

WAM are seeking graduates from ALL disciplines. Applicants are required to hold a minimum of a NFQ Level 8 and must meet all of the eligible criteria as outlined in the Information Pack.  Graduates must be ready and available to undertake a full-time 7-month Civil Service WAM Placement from July 1st 2022.

Location of Placements

Placements may arise in all areas of Ireland. Candidates are strongly encouraged to note a preference of location on their application form. Due to Covid-19, there are placements that will be remote working or will be a hybrid between on-site and off-site.
