Dublin City University is running a one year, part-time Springboard+ Certificate in User Experience at DCU.
This course addresses a gap in the labour market for UX/UI developers/designers as identified in the National Skills Bulletin (2020 p.86). The course has been designed to provide participants with an immersive set of modules relating to enhancing users online experience (UX) and supporting user interaction (UI). The Certificate in User Experience consists of two subject-specific, integrated, 15 credit modules (Exploring Interaction Design and User Experience Design) and one, 7.5 credit, Career Transitions and Success module.

The course will be delivered through engaging teaching and learning methods with a mix of both leading academics and active industry practitioners. The course will be taught primarily online, with tutorials held mainly on weekday evenings through live online classrooms. Students will have an opportunity to meet peers and tutors and practice tool use etc. In addition, students will attend selected relevant industry events.
