SIMPLE PLANT BOTANY MADE EASY
Ever wondered about the amazing diversity of herbs and plants out there, or what exactly is going on within a plant?
This fully online short course is a comprehensive introduction to simple botany and how plants work. The topics covered are: plant diversity, seeds, plant processes, roots and stems, leaves, plant reproduction, and botanical classification.
Without plants we wouldnt be here! Full stop.
Plants produce the oxygen we breathe, they also produce their own food which directly or indirectly supports all animal life on the planet.
Just look around you right now you are probably can see or are near a plant. With 400,000 species identified on the planet and the list growing every year, from the microscopic to the largest organism on earth, plants are amazing.
My short courses in simple plant botany focus on plants as herbs which help us medically. When you think about it, plants and herbs have been surviving on the earth for millions of years longer than animal and human life. They are still around because of their natural properties which we have learned to extract for our own use.
