SCFE – Sallynoggin College of Further Education offer an Advanced Performing Arts, QQI Level 6 Certificate in Drama 6M3566 running September to May.
Sallynoggin College offers a diverse and exciting selection of full-time and part-time courses within the Arts, Fashion, Drama, Dance, Sports, Hair and Beauty, Social and Childcare, and Tourism.
The aim of the Advanced Performing Arts programme is to provide the learner with the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skills and competence in the theory and practices underpinning the dramatic process and to engage with that process as a practitioner in a variety of drama related contexts.
Advanced Performing Arts
By progressing to the Level 6 Award in Performing Arts, students will gain the opportunity to hone and develop their confidence, creativity, self-dicipline and team working skills within the theatre context and to gain a deep understanding of group dynamics.
These skills are transferable to work successfully within theatre as performers or drama facilitators and also with other Arts Community and Business sectors.
