Comité International d’Esthétique et de Cosmétologie – CIDESCO – is an international beauty care trade and educational association. Their head office is in Zurich, Switzerland.

Overview

The organisation was founded in 1946 in Brussels. Their aims are firstly to uphold the highest standards of beauty and spa therapy throughout the world. They also promote aesthetics internationally. In addition, they promote the exchange of professional knowledge, new developments and information. Finally, they create recognised training centres. These lead to the CIDESCO Examination and CIDESCO Diploma.

Training and recognition

The organisation offers the comprehensive beauty and spa therapy qualifications. Over 30 countries recognise their qualifications. These include Ireland, Australia, Canada, the UK and the USA
