A UNESCO webinar ‘Empowering institutions and communities to drive lifelong learning for climate action’ will take place on Aug 21, 2024 12:00.
Empowering learning providers to promote lifelong learning for climate action is essential for the transformation towards more sustainable, climate-friendly cities. This pertains to a range of institutions – from early childhood care and education (ECCE) providers, schools and universities to adult education centres, community learning centres (CLCs), cultural institutions, museums and libraries, among others.
The sixth webinar in this series will explore the diversity of approaches to implement lifelong learning for climate action and how institutions can be inspired and supported in their efforts. It will also consider the tools institutions need to advance concrete activities ranging from awareness-raising campaigns, upcycling and litter clean-ups to new mobility events and capacity-building workshops.
