Writer Martin Keaveney Launches ‘Caravan’
In Caravan’,Gus Watt is a local trickster who lives with his ageing parents and works for a local plasterer when not developing one of his ‘schemes’. One boring Tuesday he meets the woman of his dreams – twice. He is unable to choose between the two Marys, leading to a situation more tangled than the briars that surround his caravan retreat deep in the local wood.
Caravan is a comic novella that follows the novels The Mackon Country and Delia Meade and the local bestseller The Rainy Day, a collection of short stories that sold out on its 2019 launch at the County Library.
