Galway and Roscommon Education and Training Board (GRETB) has secured over €500, 000 in funding for further education and training programmes.
The funding comes as part of a national allocation of €8m for 16 ETB’s nationwide allocated to support the delivery of Further Education and Training.

The funds will be used to support small-scale infrastructure, improvement works and the purchase of equipment.
The GRETB operates over 40 Further Education facilities across Galway and Roscommon offering an extensive range of education and training services across our many locations in Galway and Roscommon including Primary Education, Post Primary Education, Further Education and Training, Outdoor Education, Music Education and Youth Services,

GRETB Further Education and Training Centres are wide-reaching across the counties of Galway and Roscommon with over 14,000 learners taking part in programmes both full and part-time.
GRETB manage and deliver Further Education and Training Courses through Apprenticeships, Traineeships, VTOS, Training Centre, Back to Education Initiatives, Community Education, Basic Adult Education, Youthreach, Local Training Initiatives, and Community Training Centres.
GRETB provide education and training in the Education Unit at Castlerea Prison and throughout local communities through cooperation hours with partner services such as Justice Centres and services for People with Physical and Intellectual Disabilities.
