Griffith College has introduced the ‘blended learning’ study mode with the intention of helping those with a hectic schedule to attain a third-level degree.
Blended learning could be compared to a part-time course, as students are not required to be on campus five days a week, but a level 8 degree can be acquired on completion.

As a blended learner, students enjoy a number of weekly webinars, online activities as well as regular face-to-face sessions with lecturers. Griffith delivers a number of courses in blended learning study mode including; LLB (Hons), BA (Hons) in Business Studies and (BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance.
BA (Hons) in Business Studies blended learning student Paul Conlon said without this study mode, college would not have been an option, “The blended course allows me to work full time, and still study. It requires me to have structure to my week to make sure I am keeping on top of my studies.”
Current blended learner Nicola Hutchinson said, “I’ve found the blended nature of the course gave me the best of both worlds. I’d recommend this course to anybody looking to further their education but hesitant to pursue degree through the traditional route.”
