Instituto Cervantes
Instituto Cervantes Dublin runs Spanish language courses and helps people to learn Spanish in Ireland.
It is part of a network founded by the Spanish government in 1991 to promote and spread Spanish language courses, the Spanish language and Spanish and Hispanic-American culture and that of Spanish speaking countries throughout the world.
Instituto Cervantes in Dublin is located in the heart of Ireland’s capital city. It is conveniently situated between Trinity College and the National Gallery. Studying Spanish at Instituto Cervantes Dublin not only means learning Spanish but enjoying the opportunity of getting to know and discovering the different cultures within the Hispanic world through cultural activities. Students have access to a library, which offers a wide selection of Spanish and Latin American literature, as well as movies, music, magazines and newspapers from the Spanish-speaking world. Facilities include offices, 16 classrooms, a multimedia room for use by our students, a library, a conference room, an exhibition room and a coffee shop.
The central head office of the institution is located in Madrid and in Alcalá de Henares ( Madrid), birthplace of the writer Miguel de Cervantes. Instituto Cervantes Dublin runs spanish language courses and training courses in Ireland.
Instituto Cervantes Dublin collaborates with museums, galleries, theatres, publishing houses and other Irish cultural institutions, as well as Spanish and Latin-American organisations.
Instituto Cervantes offers comprehensive Spanish language courses aimed at developing the students’ ability to understand, speak, read and write in Spanish. The Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) provides a basis for the mutual recognition of language qualifications, thus facilitating educational and occupational mobility.
