Senior Trade Hairdressing

The Senior Trades Level 6 Hairdressing course provides on and off-the-job intensive training in the advanced skills required for working in the hairdressing industry. Successful students will gain a Senior Trade qualification from the Department of Education and Skills as well as QQI Level 6 component awards. The Hairdressing Senior Trades qualification will allow you to work in a salon, or as a sales representative for hairdressing products. Opportunities for graduates include employment on cruise liners, airlines, media and work abroad. Modules include: practical areas like: Fashion Cutting and Creative Styling. Advanced Colour Selection and Consultations, Advanced Permanent Waving, Barbering Techniques, Maintenance of Tools, Creative Styling. Hairdressing Theory involves Hairdressing Science, Principles of Colour and Perming, Business Management, Image Processing and Work Experience.
